In the months since renovation began at 1699 Chemong Road, the Chemong Home Hardware Building Centre team, along with vendors and suppliers, and of course, the store’s valued customers, have been waiting patiently for the dust to settle. Meanwhile, they continued to work and shop through the noise, bustle and general chaos that comes packaged with every construction project.

“We recognize that the last few months have been challenging for all of our staff,” says co-owner Terry Jenkins. “It’s been a lot of hard work and disruption, and we want to offer a big thank you to the whole team for your dedication and patience through it all.”

The owners also extend their gratitude to the many vendors and suppliers who navigated through the dust and drop sheets as they delivered products to the store. “We are only as successful as our great vendors and suppliers,” Jenkins states. “Thank you for your support through this process and over the years. We are proud to stand behind your high-quality products and share them with our community.”

“To our loyal customers, we really appreciate your patience and understanding over the last several months,” he adds. “You are the reason we are still here today and the reason that we started this journey in the first place. My hope is that when you come back you will be wowed by the changes we’ve made. I may be biased but I really think we’ve knocked it out of the park with this renovation.”
