For builders and renovators across Peterborough and the Kawarthas, time is money. Now they can save on both, with the newly expanded Contractor Services Centre at Chemong Home Hardware Building Centre.
“We recognize that when contractors come to us for supplies and materials, they want to get in, get what they need, and get out as quickly as possible,” says co-owner Terry Jenkins. “As we planned our expansion, this was definitely a priority.”
“The Contractor Services Centre is much larger now, but more importantly, a lot of effort went into putting all of the items contractors need every day close at hand. Our professional customers will notice a much more streamlined shopping experience at our store this spring and into the future.”
Chemong Home Hardware Building Centre’s Contractor Services Centre is open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday. It features its own dedicated entrance, a huge product selection, and a team of helpful, experienced staff who are happy to assist with picking, loading and unloading supplies to make the shopping process as quick and easy as possible.
“Contractors simply walk up to the counter with their list and we take care of everything for them,” Jenkins states. “It’s a service we are very proud to offer, and one that I think really sets us apart from other building supply retailers in the area.”
Another key difference between Chemong Home Hardware Building Centre and many other building supply retailers is the fact that their lumber yard is fully paved. “It seems like a small thing, but to us and our customers, it’s actually really significant,” explains Jenkins. “It means that no matter the weather, the yard stays clean and free of mud, which translates to cleaner product and less work for contractors at the end of the day.”
“We’re excited to welcome our loyal contractors back to experience the new, more convenient setup we have created for them,” he adds. “The relationships we’ve built with these customers are very important to us and we look forward to serving for years to come.”
